Astra Van LS MK4 Full Loom??

    Hi Peeps,

As some of you may know, the Astra Van LS is very basic to say the least.

Im curious to know if it has a full loom behind it so I can start plugging in electrical goodies like steering wheel controls and electric mirrors...

    Thanks.

    Dan,

    Could be wrong mate

But all you need is, the steering wheel itself and the Grey squib that goes behind it

Look on your stereo loom and there should be two wires, both Blue with a red stripe running through them, if you can find them then you have the wiring there ready

    Sweet!!

I bought just the controls off of the bay the other day but have since discovered that I need the wheel and squib to go with it oh well back on they go!! lol!!

I just wanted to know about the full loom so that I can start buying the little luxuries like heated electric mirrors and electric windows and whatever else is a 'bolt on' accessory

    Thanks for your help guys!!

Guess im gonna have to check before each impulse purchase

The only way is to check whats there, look for a blue/red wire on the cars side of the wiring to the airbag squib

As for mirrors/ windows etc first thing to do it to check you have terminals on both sides of the fuse box
