Access to the circuit diagram for the chip transponder reader on ignition switch

    Hi,

Does anyone know where to get the circuit diagrams for the Seimens chip reader that attaches to the ignition barrel. It is used with the chip in the ignition key fob.

I need to find out the value of a capacitor so I can repair the chip reader.

Any helpfull contacts of info appreciated as need ot get it sorted ASAP

    Cheers

    Mark

The diagrams will just show where the wires go from the chip reader to the ecu and through what connectors

Yeah kind of figured VX would only be able to provide wirig diagrams, will need to try and contact an engineering at Siemens or just try and get a bust one and take the components from that if anyone had an old one knocking around....

Its kind of annoying with surface mount caps having no markings on them, but unfurtunately the original cap dropped and there was next to no way of finding it
