    Z18XE Mk4 Tuning

    Sorry wrong forum.

    I need help!
A friend just gave me a '99 mk4 with the Z18XE engine, I would like to know what is the best way to squeeze as much power from it as possible.
It already has a sports exhaust and I am just about to fit a piper cross open air filter. I would also like to re-map or change the ecu as well.

Can anyone recommend or suggest any ecu's or chips and anything else that I can do to get more power?

    Thanks
    Richard

I tuned my z18xe to 165bhp with 196lbs torque, i had a dbilas inlet manifold, full length custom 4-2-1 manifold, sports cat, K&N induction kit, fast road cams and a custom remap.

On a z18xe unless you have money you won't be able to get much power out of it, so hope you got deep pockets

That is stack loads of torque, seriously loads! Have you any idea which of the mods you did pushed the torque up that high? Normally on the Z**XE's the torque stays low but the bhp goes up...
