    ultra angel eyes + hid kit

    hey guys, ive got ultra angel eyes on my astra and brought some H1 hid kit for them, i went to fit them and the bulb does not fit into the light unit itself. can you simply make the hole bigger on the headlights?

    dont know much about these hid kit lights but ive got the angel eyes in and was thinkin about the hid kit! my lights are h1 too!

    hey, yer ive had a look at that and i also saw a reply to another post with someone saying they had to grind a part of the headlight away to allow the hid to fit, ill be trying it tomo and ill let you know if it works or not.

    I had to use a dremmel to grind out the bulb seating a couple of mm to allow the fatter HID bulb to fit,haven't had any problems with them since,and even passed its MOT with them,failed on brake pipe corrosion all round,and a leaking power steering rack instead lol.
