    painting intercooler?

Just a quick one for anyone that has painted there intercooler as in just curious to how it was done, was it just done by a general body shop and was it just general car paint that was used and last of all will it affect the proformance of the intercooler in anyway?

    cheers kev

Matt black would be logical, helps radiate the heat better than shiny metal...probably a 'correct' paint to use though, a bit like house radiators.

I would leave it as alloy or paint it Black with black car paint
or best would be to cover it with Gold

    Was thinking of going black

    1. hides it more and i presfer it that way
    2. to match the car

would a everyday spray shop be ok to let have a go with it with shapphire black paint?
