    x17dtl turbo oil feed pipe

    hi can any one help me just spotted that the oil feed pipe to the turbo has gone rotten and leeking its the pipe that bolts on to the top of the turbo and goes down to just above the oil filter
    i just wanted to know when i change it do i have to bleed anything (the turbo)
    or is it just a straght swop

    hi mate if its the oil feed to the turbo there is nothing to bleed , just fit it and start it up job done .
    dont use any silicone or instant gasket on the joints .

    thanks for the reply i thought that it would be just a straght swop but best to get some input i wont use any sealant
