Karcher ones seem to be very popular and very reliable

hmm well thats not a problem! this may sound stupid but what exactly does the foam do, is it just the lazy way of cleaning the car lol, or does it act as a degreaser and take the old wax off ect ect??

It loosens off 'most' of the dirt and softens any baked on dirt so when you wash it your not dragging abrasions across your paintwork.
