    sat nav screen

    hi all,,had some marks on my mfd,and thought i,d use halfords satnav wipes,,trouble is it has taken off the purple screen covering,,(i think antiglare),where do i stand ,my fault or wipes,,,i had to completely wipe the purple screen off as it looked cack, bits missing cause of the wipes,,,,,

    The purple film is actually a UV anti glare thats used so it blocks sun from an angle. Im guessing that this is the same as the stuff that is used on sun glasses. Correct me if im wrong but look online for UV spray for sunglasses and see what comes up

    Unfortunately it is your fault...... on almost every spray there will be a "try on an inconspicuouse area first" typr disclaimer...

    Although I cant understand it being that easy to remove...
