    Tech2 firmware upgrades

    Hi all,
just got an 05 Astra Estate Club 1.7 CDTi and have been speaking to a few people who suggested that i contact VX dealer to see if my car can be firmware upgraded by Tech2.
Is this a normal procedure? Or even possible?
As far as i am aware the spec has not changed from original.

    Many thanks.

all it would be is a ecu update, vauxhall release differnt ecu updates to overcome problems, its really not worth it unless you have problems, i work for vauxhall so do it all the time, its just a flash re-programme of your ecu with a newer softwere
