    cone filter to turbo

    hi just wondering if anyone with the above can put a picture up
    as was thinking of doing it and wanted to know if it is easy to do
    as have heard of extending wires for the afm

    havnt got any pis yet mate but there are people who have done it including myself. just cut your afm wires and extend it with another cable in between. Keep away from foam filters and other oil filled filters and use somthing like the apexi cone type.

    your confused with cone filter with needs no extending as all u do is remove airbox, where as a 2.2 airbox need wires extending, although some have done with out extending

    bit of pee, undo bolts for air box, buy an apexi or equiv no oil based filter(as been proved can and do kill AFM) 70mm adapter, tight fit but does go(apexi)
    sounds the mutts nuts, but on down side heatsoak in warm weather and drinks fuel. but the apexi sounds f**king awesome

    Done it on my mates SRI-T in about ten mins. Piece of piss - think we even used standard pipes iirc. Sounds awesome and d/v is LOUD.

    well all done but cant upload any pics as not got the cable as im at work
    just used my original elbow and a samco one
    had to cut the tape near the plastic cover to get a bit more of the wire to afm but not a bad job for me (office worker)
    will post a pic tomorrow morning
