well, i personally think that the security in place in central london today is extreme, never seen anything like it! mind you, saying that, 1999 protests i was still in primary school !!
everywhere seems to be ready, but what will actually happen?
in our office, we have kept our revolving doors locked, entrance by key fob only! all ground floor blinds closed, everyone in dressed down. door grilles on fire exits closed (but with keys in the locks). its just crazy imo!
shops round here are boarded up, banks are closed. roads are quieter, and the tube was much quieter than usual!
we will just have to wait and see how the day unfolds, at the moment it is relatively quiet!
the office across the road from us has been listed as a target, except its been empty for a couple of weeks now, will be interesting to see what happens, and hope they don't turn on us if they find no one there!
will try and update throughout the day!
