    Electric windows faulty

    Hi
My astra mk3 keeps having faulty tempermental electric windows, sometimes they open and shut fine then sometimes they open and freeze on me and sometimes dont do anything. I can hear the motor working on the passenger front side always even if it doesnt open yet the drivers side i cannot hear anything unless it just opens!...Seems confusing i know but iv had both door cards off and checked both motors/connections etc and now a little miffed!...Any ideas peoples....?.....Thanks....

It may be the switches or broken wires, time to get a volt meter out and test away

    What age is your MK3?

I would open the switch and check the little metal spring on the switch they are common to crack and will not work correctly.
