    GSI Pedals

just bought a set of OEM Astra GSI Pedals of eBay. They arrived this morning and obviously cannoned straight for the car in a huge rush, so exited to put them on. The Clutch and Brake went on a treat. Just removed the origional rubber ones, and the new ones slipped over the metal plate a treat. Now thie problem starts. When i removed the throttle rubber, there is a rectangular metal plate attached to the metal rod, as with the other 2. However the back of the GSI throttle doesnt have a rubber to attach it. But it has a plastic clip (which looks like it should clip around the rod, and a hole at a 90 degrees andle to the peadl?) Now ive heard that you have to bond the throttle but the back of the GSI pedal is not a smooth surface? It looks like the GSI peadls are designed to be fitted directly to the throttle rod? But i have a metal plate welded in the way?
    Im very confsed guys
Any help would be much appreciated
pardon my ignorance if im not seeing something simple

Sorry guys, have just been back to the car. Was being stupid Didnt realise was that the pedals came already bonded to the throttle plate from a coupe. Had to remove the bonding and the pedal came free
So now am ready to bond it onto my throttle plate. What bonding agent should I use? And anyone know where i can get it from? + How long should the car be left to let it dry etc?
    Cheers guys
