i got a sony t300 for 150 n its an awesome camera for the money!!

it even has a function to only take a picture when the person is smiling!!

But the pictures are good enough to be photoshop'd, obviously not as good as most DSLR's but then you get what u pay for.

    Cracking DSLR for the money

Don't jump on the megapixel bandwagon either, more doesnt necessarily mean better

looking at what you said about dont matter how many megapixels etc.

i want a camera thats just literally a point and shoot with a rechargable lith battery instead off aa batteries thats going to give crystal clear images and is easy to use

No offense mate, but £150 isn't going to give you a lot to play with

if you are wanting crystal clear shots, no pixelation or anything like that I strongly suggest looking at a DSLR camera

Compact cameras generally don't produce crystal clear shots, they're just aimed at being an all round camera, like taking videos and photos

I strongly suggest looking at DSLR cameras like the one I suggested above, here are some shots I've took with my D40 just to give you an idea, D40 is a good entry level DSLR

Its ok have a good camera but if you cant use it its just a paper weight.

These are taken with my point and shoot Fuji finepix S80001fd which has 18 times zoom and 10 meg pixle for £165 from: http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/8865...-s8100-fd.html

    They're great cameras

Dead easy to use and theres sooo many things to fiddle around with them

Plus the fact, if you want to get more zoom in the future, you can buy additional lenses unlike with compact cameras, when you are stuck with the one on it

They come with flashes, and you can adjust the intensity of it too
