    Help - Bluetooth Handsfree Kit

    I brought this car yesterday

which i'm very happy with, it has come with a bluetooth handsfree car kit which according to the dealer was fitted by Halfords , this is what it looks like

but there is no name or any details on it, i've tried searching the internet but got no where. The only thing written on the back is BT800BTR110BR01d which didn't come up with anything either.

Does anyone know what model this is so i can try and connect my mobile to it.

    Nice new car

Can't say a recongise the BT phone kit. What i'd suggest is to do a bluetooth search on you phone and with the engine running on the car and see what you find.

It may be that what you find will give us a idea of what phone kit it is

Thanks for the compliment on the new car

First i tried several phones Nokia 3109, Nokia 6230 & Orange SPV C550 but none would connect, so i pressed and held some of the buttons but no go, then held the minus key and some lights started flashing tried again with a phone and it paired up. I'm well chuffed now.

For information the bluetooth name is CAR02c

Sorry mate i'm still none the wiser as to what you have there

When you can see the phone kit try connecting to it. Common passwords are 0000, 1111 and 1234

Did a Google on halford bluetooth and saw a picture

I'm pretty sure you could get a manual for it if you got in touch with halfords.
Pama seems to be trade only....
