    I give up on DIY with cars

    Decided to do the service on the car myself, couldnt budge the nut to drain the oil so i couldnt do that, went to do the plugs and couldnt find the blighters, apparently you need to remove coil packs etc to get to them, so i gave up with that too.

    I did manage to replace the air filter tho, yey!

    1.6 on an 02 plate, i did the service on my Mk3 no problems, just thought i'd give it a go as i have been quoted £140, bought the bits for like £60

    to remove the coil pack is very easy trial and error i say there's not much that could go wrong. Have another go

    Good lawd it's easy mate

    Two T30 bolts to remove plastic cover, and two further T30 bolts to remove the coil pack, Off comes the coil pack and you are at the spark plugs though they are in the engine quite a bit

    Oil drain plug, you need to tap sometimes with a hammer
