    Question 100,000 2004 2.0 Dti - Preventative Tips?

    Hi,

My Zaffy has just had a 100,000 mile service, engineers say no snags. Is there anything I could do other than the usual servicing to extend the cars life? I got a bit of a shocker recently when a rear disc failed. Is it worth replacing anything at a certain stage rather than just wait for it to fail?

It's always been a biatch to pass the MOT on emissions. Why? I use fuel additive now to help keep things running better.

    Cheers,

    Lecter

Emissions might be a little better now you are not drawing in air anymore.

Keep your eye on the ball and investigate anything that does not seem right, preventitive maintenance is always the best policy and can be acheived by not ignoring problems when they first arise.
