    Question Knocking noise coming from rear

    Hi all (astra g Cab)i have noticed a knocking noise coming from the rear at first it sounded like a flat tyre thud.thud.thud getting faster with more speed upto 20mph then disappears please help.

    update I have just jacked the car up and rocked both rear wheels and there is no movement what-so-ever

    Update i jacked the car up and span the wheels and there is a deffinate knock on the drivers side so it is booked into the garage i got it from next week to get it fixed

    have you checked the rear suspension coils as these tend to snap or have you had any work done to exhaust as it goes over the rear beam and if its sitting to low it can bang hope this helps. liam

    Mine knocked like this and it was nothing but a loose bolt at the base of the rear drivers side shock absorber.
