Squeak coming from drivers side wheel

Hi All i am new to the forum been reading for a while now had no problems with my astra apart from now

    I have a Astra LS 2.0 Di on a S Plate.

The problem i have is when i am turning right a high pitch Squeak coming from the drivers side wheel it is a intermitent squeak it only happens when i am turning right.
If i turn with full lock the squeak goes away it only happens after i drive a few miles aswell it is not there when i start a journey.
Also the squeak goes away when braking aswell.

Has anyone got anyone got any idea's what could be causing this.

It is not bearings as the noise is only there when i turn the steering very slightly to the right go past to full lock its goes.

    Cheers

Had a search for this problem found hundreds of posts that many people have posted some say its bearings some say its brakes but could not find a post that fixed this problem.

With this being a very common problem is there a definate fix for this.

If the squeek is there when you are turning then it will be that the brake pads are worn out. I had this problem a while back and this was the issue.

The reason it only squeeks after a few miles is because you have used the brakes more and more. I bet if you try to not be so heavy on the brakes the noise will die down.

Either way, you either need new brake pads or some copper grease on the backs of the pads to stop them sticking!

Sorry to bring up an old post, but I also have this problem

I have been told it could be break pads, or wheel bearings.

I find that the noise happens when turning left, full lock or not as a slow speed

Or, when travelling at 30mph, it makes the noise when I slightly turn tot he left... I mean, half a turn on the steering wheel?

I would like to know as my car is booked in on 22nd April to be serviced, and I have asked him to check it out.

    Thanks,
    Dean
