    Mobile phone advice

Finally, I've got the chance to get rid of my piss poor nokia 5410 and get something that actually works/I can operate

    So what's currently out there?

This is a phone for work soall I need it to be is a phone... make phone calls, and be resonably robust as I work outdoors in all conditions

    Oh it's on Vodaphone BTW

    Options?

I'm sure Mat's pal, the Vodafone guy, will help you out with this.

For work phones, I know alot of people swear by the Nokia 6*00 series.

I think the latest ones in that series are 6300 & 6500.

    PS: wrong forum.

id stay away from the 6500's geoff,

at vodafone we do super robust phones called "sonym"s not sure of the spelling, there ugly, but they're tuff and we mostly sell them to builders, the features e.g. cameras are a bit poo too,

Best phone and most robust I ever had was an old Nokia 3210. That thing was in and out of pints, played football with it etc and it never, ever, ever let me down.

6300's are robust and awesome, but i wouldnt have a vodafone one, the vodafone 6300 software is still buggy and glitchy

I'd rather not have a Nokia as I just can't get on with them except the wonderful 7110

    is this the one Asim?

thats the sony c702 geoff, i completely forgot about that one - mainly because i never really sell many

that c702 would be my recommendation, its dust and splash resistant (not fully water resistant mate)

    these are the sonims mate

if you want a few features i'd go for the c702 by sony, otherwise these sonims are bloody tuff - and ugly
