    new break pads

    Hey all

my coupe rescently passed its MOT but got an advisory on break pads. i was just wondering is it worth going for green/red stuff pads or would i be just as good going with the standard vaux pads as i still only have standard discs. basically, if i opted for green/red stuff pads will it make my breaking considerably better?

    all help much apreciated

    Mike

For the non-mind readers out there. . . . What engine u got?

Personally i.d just get standard pads if its just the pads that require changing

This of course depends on what model u have and what budget u have as u may be able to get new discs n pads too if u so wish

the uprated pads will make quite a difference but I fitted green stuff to mine, they caught fire all the time, warped the disks and nackered 2 calipers. If the pads you have on now are shot even replacing with normal ones will seem much better. If the rest of the brakes are staying unchanged then a decent set of ferodo pads would be better than standard but not OTT for the setup.
It would definitely go better with an engine in it
