    Rug Doctor ftw!

If any of the few AOC members who've been to my house recall, our living room carpet (cream/beige) had suffered badly from nearly 4 years of kids. Looked like it just needed changed as it was so bad, but £25 of Rug Doctor hire and 1 hours cleaning brought it back to almost new, my wife and I were amazed as previous attempts with VAX type cleaners helped but not by much.

If anyone is looking to clean a carpet then I'd strongly recommend using a Rug Doctor, they work really really well!

Thanks for that, Hopes trick is to tip her bottle upside down and watch the milk drip out of it onto the floor...so I know mine will deffo need a bit of attention!

Compared to Vax and the Bosch thing I hired from HSS, the Rug Doctor is much better and is way easier to use. Fill it with hot water and just drag it backwards over the carpet. It steams the water/cleaner into the carpet and sucks it back out.

Did you try one of those George hoovers? Green Henry one?

My sister has one, used it to clean the carpet in her 307 and it's like brand new

Had it not been you nry, I really would have misinterpreted the thread title.

It can easily be misunderstood for a gynaecologist!
