    Could be wrong but think the window switches are SMD's, not LED's?

    Light switch is up to you really, 5mm be the best, but could use 3mm's if wanted.

    Allow me to correct you

    LED = Light Emmit Diode
    SMD = Surface Mounted Device

    And correct is more like : the LED`s are SMD type

    But i believe they can be changed after all

    Cheers

    Not sure how you have corrected me? I know what the letters stand for

    Still pretty sure the window switches are SMD's (of the LED type obviously, but not your normal dome LED like Gregg was referring to)

    SMD is type of LEDs that`s all

    You`v typed like there are 2 types of light emit devices SMD and LEDs
    I just wanted to clear this - SMD are LEDs with different soldering bulk

    Cheers

    The passenger side is a 3mm LED, the drivers side uses 2 SMD type LED's, however if you bend the legs out & are careful with the soldering iron you can fit standard 3mm LED's to the drivers side switch.

    PM OddJob, he will be cheaper than eBay for LEDs and the translucent filters you might need to swap the MFD for LEDs aswell. Cost me around £10 delivered for enough to do the whole interior (bar the CD Player though OddJob might know on that front too).
