    im pretty sure it doesnt get faster or slower, its stays at one frequency,

    i had this on my car when i bought it, i was gutted thoght it was a c.v joint or something. dont know what yours is but mine was a relay came loose, not 100% sure as the garage i got the car from fixed it, but i think its a fuel pump relay or something

    i had somethin that sounds really similar... for me it was a solenoid...that was suposed to be clipped on the back of the air filter box, was touching the body work. wassnt put back properly after servicing probably.... took me about 8 months to work thst one out! lol
    1.6 16v club - but very jelous of most guys cars on here... one day!

    yea i put some padding around my thingy on the back of the airbox but maybe it needs more lol.

    FIXED! all i did was put some more padding around the carbon canister to stop it making a noise.
