    Sony BT5100

    Hey guys.. im picking up my astra mk5 on tues and i currently have the BT5100..

    I was wondering what adaptors are needed for the steering controls and where i can get them from? (and price if possible) Thanks

    Get the connects2 steering wheel adaptor every time mate as this will let you get into the menus to change the time.

    Have a look in the sticky at the top of this forum for info on the part numbers

    Remember you'll also need a aerial adaptor along with a facia plate to match your dash

    Sorry to thread jack, but i've also made a thread asking this, but for the MK4 .... for the exact same unit

    what do you reckon to it mate? Is it a quality bit of kit? what's the bluetooth part of it like (as that's the reason i'm looking to buy it)

    Or, are you going to tell me you've not had it installed in any car yet? lol

    Ive got it in my mgzr.. i get my astra on tues.. i love it.. it connects automatically to my phone and the sound is pretty good quality.. only quarm is (probs my own fault) is tht i had a loud xhaust on my car so sumtimes the noise made it hard for the person on the other end to hear.. i got the ipod adaptor for it aswell.. which works well... can scroll through using the head unit.. hope this helps haha

    Haven't heard much feedback on it, but what little i have, has been good.

    I want to get a private plate, but i also want to pick this unit up. Both aren't cheap. lol.

    i got a private plate so im lucky.. gotta gt it transfrrd from the zr tho.. £80 down the pan!
