    astra convertible on 19's

I'm thinking bout getting a set of bk299's on my car for the summer and putting some 40mm springs on it. would this require archwork or rub?

    It's only a 1.6 so it's 4 stud so didn't have much choice so picked bk299's. I'm unsure of offset tho x x

I have 7 1/2 x 19 with an off set of ET42 (Fitted with 215/35/19 tyres) and I had to cut away some of the plastic inner arch and cut a bit of the rear bumper bracket off so it didnt rub.

I just want the wheels to really stand out could anyone post pics of cabs with 18's and 19's I would be happy with 18's if the looked big and were less hassle

    hello mate,

19's on an et 0f 45 to 42 ish should be ok. As lee has said you will probably have to do minor mods to the front arch liners to stop rubbing on full lock. But lee's is lowered more than 40mm.

Here are 2 pics of mine with different 19's

Lowered 25mm at the front and 35mm at the rear.

other option is for you to get a five stud converstion.

Your car is lovely mate i actually like the bk299 wheels think i might just get 18's as they look a good size on your car and will require less work i kinda want 19's tho as i havent seen a cab or a coupe where i stay with wheels that big

I dont want to take the gamble and fit the 19's then always have problems with rubbing so I tried to order the 18's i wanted today and bk dont have any bk299 black with silver rim the now so its drawing board for me so 19's still maybe.
