    Question Advice

I have sourced a 2003 gsi engine (z20let) with 40k on the clock, its still running in what i can only call a twisted shell, nothing of it left only the engine. A sound fella is going to drop that lump in and remove my 1.8 for me. ( i have a coupe check my clicky in my sig for any details you think i maybe ommiting)

Now i know i need to source the following,
    308mm brakes and matching callipers.

i have the car lowered on eibach springs 30mm. I bought them new from lmf and i was asked what engine i had when ordering. (1.8 )

IF i get the 2litre turbo do i need to change my springs and also will i need to change my oem front shocks also??

Anyone who can help me i'd greatly appreciate it.

    DAve
i would if i could but i cant (be arsed)
    maybe I can....clicky ......now sold !

You will only need to sort out 308mm Discs and Caliper Carriers as the 1.8 has the same calipers! Can you not get these of the Engine Donor Car!

The Shocks should be OK mate
THE STATEMENTS MADE ABOVE ARE MERELY MY OPINION AND SHOULD NOT BE INTERPRETED AS STATEMENTS OF FACT UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED

The LET is heavier than your 1.8 so the car will sit slightly lower at the front once it's dropped in.

Was just about to say te same thing. No need to change anything else except for the brakes as the 308's would be much better. You will only need the carriers and disks to convert as ive done it bout 2 weeks ago.
