    Lightbulb any body fitted a boost controller/ bleed value

    hi i am after turnin my boost up a little by using a boost controller under the bonnet. any body done this or add vise me on doing it cheers

    What car/engine your running? If its a Z series engine you'd be better off getting the car remapped! Search the forums for remapping as its covered on a day to day basis!

    I wouldnt mate, id just get a remap. turning boost up will make it quicker yes but could do some damage.

    fair enuf was only going to turn it up a little like a few psi not loads

    Someone may come along and say its fine mate and that they have done it with no problems, just obviously a remap is alot safer so why most people will say stick to a remap.

    you can bypass the bcs with a bleed valve but it will bring the engine management light on
    never drink and drive .you might spill your drink
    **** n/a turbo is the way

    ok m8 thanks so there's not way really to a just it bar remap? wud a electronic boost adjuster be better cheers

    As far as i understand it, a remap is the only safe way to up the boost levels. The ecu controls the amount of boost the turbo runs through two boost control valves, so any outside in puts will only interfear with the data in the ecu and the info being sent by the various sensors.
