    1.8 Vvt + 1.8 Vvt Sri

I notice that most of the sports models ie the SRI`s and twintops have the 1.8VVT engine.
My Astra has the 1.8VVT in it, but it is only the design model.
What is the differance between the two and what would i need to do too my engin to bring upto spec with the SRI. Also what does VVT stand for and how does it compare against the twinport.

The engine is likely identical, it'll be interior/exterior spec that will be different.

VVT is variable valve timing - the ECU changes the way the engine behaves dependent upon the situation so makes the most use of it. The twinport is down to the throttle body designI think, not the same thing as VVT.

All cars with the 1.8 VVT have the same power, your Design has the same power as the SRi.
