VXR intake of Vectra C intake on a mk5?

What do you guess prefer a VXR intake or Vectra Intake on your MK5 Astra, E.g What one fit easier or Better Preformance?

I have samekind question but it concern mk4. Does mk4 1.8 16v fit intake on straight from mk4 OPC(gsi x20xer) or OPC2 (gsi turbo) ? And is it any bigger, does it make difference ?

On the MK4 astra the biggest you can fit is from the Vectra.

Have a look in the HOW2 section on fitting one to a MK4 Astra

If you have a Mk5 1.9 Cdti (150) then me and a few lads had a look and are pretty sure the intake is the same as the VXR's.

Buy it from a Vauxhall dealership - it's cheaper like a lot of other parts! You will also need the adaptor part that goes from the end of the intake to the air filter housing. It's a small semi-flexible bit of tube. (The one on my H 1.7 diesel is the same size as the VXR one.)
I did my MK4 1.6 16v and it just made the car a bit louder because the tubes on the original intake cancel out noise at certain frequencies. No performance increase, but worth the risk for £13. The original intake can supply more air than the car needs, it doesn't restrict it in any way. So don't be too disappointed.

It is the same size! The intakes on the 1.7 diesel are exactly the same.
Now you will have people saying their VXR is "restricted" !!!!!
