    Stopping a sub sliding?

Putting in my old sub today, are there any quick DIY ways of keeping it in place so it doesn't slide around the boot?

    Thanks

4 sqaures of velcro on the bottom corners of the sub works a treat for me.

Mines a little different, i have tie points from the back of a transit in each corner and i have a box next to the sub and a ratchet strap across the front.

I have used velcro and it does work.

I'll have to pick up some velcro strips, thought my old man had some but he doesn't.

Velcro would be the way to go, I used some industrial strength stuff for a college exhibition. Forget worrying about it sliding and more about pulling it apart when your finished with it, lol.

It comes in a small ported box so there's nothing really to pull apart. When I go for the proper install then I'll worry about that

Mine was bought off a friends' uncle so didn't have any velcro strips when it was in the corsa.

Doing emergency stops because of the right plonkers around here made it sound I had a dead body in the boot...nice spinal damage to the people in the backseats!!

I velcroed mine tot he floor
Worked well, except when I had to remove my sub tog et the spare wheel out one time, It ripped the fabric off my subwoofer, so I have to get that glued back at some point.
