    astravan temp gauge

I have a mark 4 astravan with the 1.6 petrol engine, the temp gauge does not rise when the van is going down the road but goes up to half way when standing on idle? My heaters work fine, the van does not have air-con. Is there a reason why the gauge does not read the correct engine temp when running?

I believe there are a few different versions of the coolant control module, are you sure you have the right one?
