1.7 CDTi SXi - Computer on board?

Just wondered if the above model (2005) had any functionality to analyse average speed or mpg etc? My previous car was a Focus and there was the ability to adjust the display to reveal that data but I cant find anything similar on the Astra?

If there is how do I access it?

    Cheers

    Paul

    Add Chewy. on Facebook
you will also know if it has a bigger screen,
If it does you can use the right hand toggle wheel on the steering wheel, keep your finger on it for a few seconds to view the new set of displays the use the wheel to scroll through, when you have the one you want if you leave it then that is what will stay on the screen till you do it again.

When I press mine (same model and engine), it says "no function", so i presume it doesn't have the trip computer? surprises me tbh...

That's exactly what I get. How come such a well kitted out car doesn't have something so standard these days - shame.

If you have the triple info display (two lines, with two round buttons on it), there is no way of getting the trip computer.

If you have any other display, the trip computer can be switched on by someone who's handy with a tech2.

SXI 05 models dont come with trip computer as far as I'm aware.

Trip computer only got added in the 07 onwards model. As far as I remember.
As they changed few things then to like adding Aux in put and what not.
