    Rear Shock Problem?

Had a look at this today and noticed, where the shock is fixed at the top end of the shock the rubber grommet or bush is broke/split. Can the rubber/bush just be replaced or do I need a new shock?

MK4 or 5? My MK5 has bust at the top due to hitting a bad hole, its the bush that has gone and the whole shock needs replacing as its all one peice. Im going through the local council due to poorly maintain roads.

If its broken you need a new shcok. If its a mk4 PM me and you can have my old 2 rear shocks if you cover postage. They had been on the car for 4 months then I got coilovers so didnt need them anymore...
It would definitely go better with an engine in it
