    heater problem?

hi, ive got a mk4 astra with a heater problem. I have been told that a circuit board needs replacing by the guy i got the car from, the fan still works but just blows cold air, ive done other checks like making sure water is flowing through, and the engine run's at normal tempreture. has anyone come across this before?

    Welcome mate

Unless your car has climate control replacing whatever circuit board the guy is on about won't fix your problem.

The heat control is done by a cable that could be broken or uncliped from either behind the panel or on the heater box it's self

That looks like the coolant control module thats found on cars with AC. It controls the external fans and AC, nothing to do with the heaters inside the car
