    Flickering HID

    finaly got round to fitting my 50w 6000k h7r kit lastnite to find that one of the bulbs flickers. its only one side tho. is the ballast screwed or the bulb?? I made sure I didn't touch the bulbs when putting them in?? can someone tell me what I can do to stop it flickering???

    swap the balasts around to see if its the bulb or the ballasts!

    check the bulbs are tightly fitted to the ballasts
    Observe the masses and do the opposite

    I had this when I fitted mine, turned out to be a faulty bulb, swap the bulbs around so you can work out if it's the ballast or the bulb that's the problem.

    iu think it maybe bulb. would i get any interferance if the wires were close to a loom or somthing like that???

    I had the same problem, swapped the ballasts but it wasnt them, it was defenately the bulb, got new ones and never had a problem since. Got to also make sure that the bulb has no contact with anything at all, this can cause a defect in the bulb.

    As others have said.. Swap the ballasts from side to side as flickering can be caused by both ballast and bulb.. If that doesnt solve it time for you to get back to the people you bought them off for a new bulb.
