    Meguiar's Cleaner/Wax

Bit of a daft question really, I've got a sample bottle of Meguiar's Cleaner/Wax that I got with a Meguiars Smooth Surface Clay Kit. Would the Cleaner/wax strip away any wax I've already got on my car?

the clay will do that, no it wont strip the wax and tbh isnt really worth putting it on.

I really can't see the point in this product. It's useless as a paint cleaner and worse as a wax. Doesn't add anything to the shine either.

The fact that it calls itself a cleaner/ wax seems like a contradiction to me.

I just chucked a sample bottle of this down the sink and filled it with ClearKote Red Moose Glaze for Buckle instead. Much better

I can't remember if I read it but isn't the cleaner bit about it not leaving wax residue on black plastic/rubber parts?
