    dual head unit?

how would i do a dual head unit setup, i have both the head units but no idea on how to make them both work together in the car,

    what wiring would i need?

i'm guessing a dual ISO adaptor??

    cheers

    Why do you need two?

If you say what you want each one to do, it would make it easier. But they will both need the obvious wires like earth, power, switch power. Do they both need to be connected to the speakers, or will the output of one, go to the input of the other? I.E is one the main H/U and the other one a DVD headunit?

Does you existing headunit have a AUX input?

The dvd player has a built in screen or using a separate one?

That makes it a bit of a pain in the ass then, as the dvd player will need to be connected to speakers somehow. Easy way would have been RCA's out the DVD player into the headunit but can't be done without an AUX in.

Is the DVD player a proper headunit with a built in amp? Or just a basic player with a screen?

its a proper player with a built in amp mate, a ripspeed one - yeah i know

i was thinking if there is some sort of ISO multipliers available, otherwise it may prove too much hasle for a ripspeed HU

Think there are some about, or you could make you own up. Just two ISO looms, and 'T' one into the other.

Your going to have to take the RCA output from one headunit into the Aux input of the other, no real other way of doing it without a huge speaker switching box
