    Power steering intermittent fault
I had an intermittent fault with the steering after we changed the
alternator so it must be somthing we have done with the wiring. Does anyony know the answer to rectify this problem.

Duff ecu on my 53 1.6 8V Astra caused intermittent power steering loss, easy change and 60 quid for a scrap one. It's mounted on the right side of cylinder head. (since heard Euro Car Parts do new ones for under 30!)
