    Thumbs Up 18's on a g?

    hi guys does anyone know what offset i need for 18's, my g is lowered 40mm and i want some 18's but not sure about offset i need, i want to run 225/40/18 tyres, thanks guys for your help

    ET40-ET45 on a 7.5 or 8" rim.

    You may need to go back to standard suspension though if you want to run 225/40's.

    im running 225/40/18's with it lower'd 35 and it scrubs sometimes.
    Silver Mk4 5door SXI, Veccy C pipe, lowered 35mm, backbox, Remus straight through pipe, Alcantara Gaiters

    Yeah, needs to be 215/35 if you want it trouble free + lowered.

    the car is running on 18's 215/35 now but the offset is to much and it has hit the rear arches a few times, i want to get another set of wheels but dont want the same problems

    Well as I said above mate. I have run 7" with ET38 no probs. And 8" with ET42 no probs, lowered about 70mm rear 50 front.

    Just stick around or above ET40 and it will be fine, you will need 215/35's though

    i'm not sure if i should get new 18's or go back to 17's? i'm putting on a set of vxr front brakes on soon, just waiting to get some braided hose next week

    i have heard you can only fit certian 17's can fit over astra vxr setup though?
