    to change the oil:

get the car warm so oil is warm but not too hot
jack up the car on drivers side and support with axle stand
open oil cap and pull up dip-stick
place large container under the sump and undo the sump nut
undo it slowly and try to catch all the oil in the container
remove oil filter, it its hard to remove put a screwdriver through it and turn, its for the bin anyway
put new filter on making sure to rub oil on the rubber part and hand tighten
put sump nut back on with new washer and clean the metal debris from the threads (its magnetic)
refill with oil and keep checking the dipstick
start car, take for a drive then check for leaks

    all done i think
