£2000 upwards, depending on whether you want British Gas to come and do it or get a local gas man etc.

I got a quote from British Gas in 2007 and it was something like £3750, parts & labour etc.

Then depending on what combi-boiler you choose and how much the guy charges etc it could be anything from £2000 upwards.

yep agree with Scott, around the £2500 to £3500+ depending on boiler plus size of house, access to boiler etc.

I'd have though £1000-£1500 too if you have all the radiators etc already...you can get grants towards this type of thing too but not sure where you'd check on that - perhaps ring your local council offices up. We got our whole loft insulated with 270mm thick stuff for only £50 because we had a child under 2 years old at the time. There are often Government incentives for changing to a more economical boiler.

The company I used to work for used to charge around £1600 for a boiler change assuming it was a straight swap. So anything from £1500 up.

But it also depends on which kind of boiler it is and what output you need. We used to fit Vokera's. You can pick up a brand new 35KW (120,000 BTU's) Vokera Compact 35HE for £645 and that comes with a standard flue, 1xfilling loop, 1xlime beater, 1xcleanser, 1xinhibitor, 1x24hr time clock, 7x15mm thermostatic radiator valves with the condensing boiler.
