    does this coolant look ok?

hi guys, gave the car a check over today and noticed the coolant isnt the bright orange colour it was when it last got serviced in september,

theres no sign that the head gasket has gone but does this look like oil in the water?

    cheers

the coolant should never change colour even after a few miles and if it does this could mean you have a problem

?is your engine block ally or steel, if your header bottle coolant has a rusty colour this could mean that neat tap water has been used and the neat tap water also corrodes ally heads from the inside (eg) the ally goes white and furry also if neat tap water used with a cast iron head this will rust the head from the inside (eg)rusty looking coolant in the header bottle also engine coolant needs changing every couple of years

Mine went a similar colour mate. Will be fine. All you could do is try flushing it a couple of times, then fill up with fresh. May stay pink for a bit longer then lol.

After an engines done 90k its going to pick up contaminents in the system after the years its never going to be perfect unless you replace the whole cooling system
