    Alcantara cleaner???

    im looking to clean the alacantre in my car as its starting to look a little bit grubby, i was wondering if anyone new of a good cleaner, as i cant see soapy water doing the trick haha

    You need to have them wet-vac'd. It's the onlyway to get them back to new again. Once theyhave fully dried, then just pull the bobbles up gently and cut them off with a pair of sharp scissors.

    I wiped mine down with a slightly damp cloth and some sofa cleaner and took a razor to the bits. Worked well enough for me. I was a bit scared at first using a razor but it was easy enough to do and didnt harm my interior

    i need to wet vac the whole interior as the previous owner left them in a bit o a state to say the least but i have tryd everything on the bobbles!

    even the razor idea but its just not nic looking...

    any suggestions?

    also i have a seat cleaner mix so once clean will be keeping ontop o it lol

    By the sounds of things the seats arent designed to be cleaned haha, ill be cleaning the car tomorow anyway i think so ill give it a quick test with some sofa cleaner, im scared incase i make it worse thoe as i do have a tendency to balls things up! to be honest the bobbnles dont seem that bad in mine, its just the seats seem quite mucky, im guessing the previous owner didnt take much care of the interior, as i havent really had thwe car long! cheers for the help guys

    i wouldnt use a wet vac. just hoover them and use a damp cloth with a weak solution of apc. over wetting them will ruin the pile/nap.
