    seizure

    HEy guys,
im suffering from epilepsy since i was 17, Had a full blown seizure in work tuesday of this week and so losing my licence for a year is a possibility,

now to come to terms with facts,

    sell my motor..

    or keep it,

to say this website is one of the best things ever would be an understatement, being able to modify and work on my car the last couple of years and always being able to turn to this community for help, answers and inspiration is fantastic, currently im off the road and will find out monday what the doc says.

What should i do regarding my car? click my signature to see my cars current state.

Anyway just thought i'd tell ye lads. I remember andy(i think) had a similar problem but i have had them undercontrol for so long.

    DAve
i would if i could but i cant (be arsed)
    maybe I can....clicky ......now sold !

Well, do you have any money outstanding on finance etc on the car? can you afford to leave it, work on it and insure it only for Theft etc and declare is sorn?

if you can, (hope so as well mate )then keep it, you can then spend time getting it how you want it for when you get back to driving it IF you loose ur license.

Other q is can you afford not to sell it? if you can keep itt, you know you want to!

Can you not resit your test in another country?

I had a friend who had a heart condition, they took his licence away, so he went and did it in another country and used that.?

    Just an idea?

I don't mean to upset you buddy, but a friend of mine had no previous history of seizures and had one last year, they took his license off of him pretty much straight away And he had no history, so I can only imagine if they're already aware of it. I'd keep the car insured for something silly like 100 miles a year, if you can - At least you'll keep your NCB And as for the motor, keep it.. and do little bits to it. It's loverly.

An ex g/f's brother suffered from epilepsy, and he was on tablets to help reduce the risk of them, but he had a siezure and was allowed to keep his license, then he had another one a few moths later and then they took it away. I think it's only if you have 2 or more in a certain amount of time, but this was about 8 years ago so my memory is pretty hazy.

Good luck with it though mate

was at the doc today, he wants me off the road for a month as the days after a seizure always are the more dangerous,

so im holding on to the motor for the time being until i get all my tests back.
