Blowing sound from right side of car.

Someone from the South East meet told me about it at the last meet, cant remember his name now I believe he said it was the exhaust manifold or the gasket? Not sure, bad memory.

Any ideas what it could be and how much price wise it is for a fix?

most likely the exhaust, standard manifold £100 ish give or take i would have thought, CAT couple of hundred. then the rest cat back standard about a £100, or it could be the exhaust between each conection. couple of quid for them.

If it's excessively noisy, it may attract unwanted attention from the plod - At which point they could technically issue you with a VDRS which requires you to visit an MOT station and get it checked over and approved.

Not majorly, can just hear it blowing / sucking Im not too sure. Its just a bit louder than usual. If I knew what it was would be easier to fix, but I dont wana have to pay to get it booked in to find out, no cash for that.

Is the car hunting/idling funny at all? Using more fuel than normal?

Yeah It feels like its going through fuel a bit more than normal :\ Feels a little down on power too.

One of the guys from the south east meet looked under the front of the car and was "like yeah its the..." but I forgot what he said then he walked off :\
