    Subwoofer amplifier settings

    Can anyone help me on this its a jbl btx 250 amplified bass tube i dont understand these controls see pic

    gain if its the same on my mixer turns the volume up or down not sur on the other 2

    Gain increases the input level from the RCA's. It isn't a volume control.

    To set it up, you should set the headunit to 3/4 full voloume, have the gain set to MIN, and gradually turn it up until the sub starts to distort - then turn it back a little bit.

    Bass boost is pretty self explanatory

    Crossover - not sure, imagine it will change the tone of the sound. I.E a lower kilohertz will be more bassy than a higher kilohertz.

    Cheers buckle the sub has been stood in the garage for over a year now i forgot how much bass this thing kicks out
