    Radio control lights

A while a go i installed a Sony head unit in my Astra and the old problem with the radio controls not lighting up when using the CD player cropped up, im planning on replacing the back lights in the controls with coloured LED's and was wondering if its possible to get them working without removing the console/radio??? I know some wire splicing is involved and I've done that before but removing the radio i cba with!

You will need to remove the radio TBH mate as the wires you need to swap around are there
