Unhappy Was taken into casualty yesterday

it all started of like this:

saturday night - my left thighs hurting - but i think nothing of it even though i havent trained legs in a while

Sunday morning - i wake up and the same thighs hurting a little more, but i get up and carry on with stuff i need to do, i thought i must have slept on it wrong.

Sunday evening - while dropping my other half off somewhere i decide to pop to a takeaway to grab a kebab, i pulled up outside and i was having a little trouble getting out of the car - i thought this must be because i was sat down for around an hour.

Monday morning - i'm woken up by pain in my left thigh, i cant really walk, but i had to go work as there was no one else covering, so i manage to have a shower, and drive to work, on the way there i couldnt really clutch properly, so i found myself dragging the car in 2nd and 3rd quite a lot.

When i get to the work carpark i really cant get out of my car, my thigh is really swollen and the pain seems to be spreading downwards i had to adjust the seat back and climb out of my car holding on to the roof and door, it then took me 5 mins to walk 20 yards holding on to things as i go along like signs and public benches.

I get to work and i really cant walk, and cant put any weight on that legs, weighing 15 stone didnt help either.

Work then wouldnt let me go home as there was "no one to cover my shift" but a breif phonecall to my doctor, changed their minds when my doctor told me to get that decision in writing.

he told me to go straight to casualty at my local hospital, so i waddled back to my car, how i didnt fall over i dont know and somehow managed to drive home painfully.

my dad then dropped me and some family off at casualty where i was seen,

the did a few tests, took some blood and have come to the conclusion that it may be a blood clot in my leg or some kind of abscess i've been given some medication and sent home, woke up this morning and i think its a little better but not got out of bed yet.....

that seems abit funny 2 me if they think that they shouldnt send u home, my m8 dad had one in his leg and had a scan straight away and had it removed within 24hours because it can travel 2 your heart

they said that it was either an abscess or a clot, it looks like an abscess so they've given me painkillers and some other medication, and sent me home, the doctor said that i should come back today if it doesnt get better.

they did a blood test on me and concluded that i was a "low risk" for a clot.

i didnt think it would be a clot as i'm only 21, and pretty healthy

Unfortunately, that means nothing these days.

There are people dying of cancer at silly ages (latest was 27 - a friend of mine). She actually had cancer in her legs would you believe.
