    I want to add a new tail pipe to my van it is a astra Mk5 black 1.7 diesel, is there any rules / laws on what kind and what they need to be like?? i dont really want a new back box and things just so it looks good at the end what is the best way of doing it???

    Also can anybody recommend places to get them and kinds that look good??

    if you go to a local motor store shop thing, you can pick some tail tips up which just slot over your current exhaust, gives it a shiny chrome effect.

    yeah that sound good and what i was thinking, does it matter that my tail pipe points down ( i think, not checked ) can you get ones that change the angle??

    Humm this makes me ponder !

    So you dont want it to sound differnt but you want some shineyness at the back !

    As regards to angle it will probs point down on the derv you can get adjustable ones i think but they are just bolt on.

    Your best bet may be to get a backbox that is just as silent as standard but this way you choose the design you want.

    I think i have an old bolt on twin if you want you can have it to see what it looks like it a bit messy but will give you an idea before you buy one from halfrauds lol.

    powerflow my man, prob just as easy and good to get a backbox, they do different sizes for loudness, so just get one thats going to be quiet as

    Hi yeah thats the kind of thing i am wanting, but looking around i am not sure if you can get them as my tail pipe bends down would the one that you have got work on a bent down one??

    Also how easy is it to fit a new back box? because that migt be the way to go i guess!!!

    Well you would defo get better results with a complete backbox IMO so i would go for that.


    Regards how hard they are to fit, i have no idea on the mk5 vans !


    Someone will know tho.
